Tabassum, Mughni. Letter from Mughni Tabassum. To Rashed, N.M. Nov. 11, 1970. 2 pp. 1 sheet. 7.5 x 10. Handwritten. Handwritten aerogramme from Mughni Tabassum. He wishes Rashed good health and expresses happiness over Rashed’s plan to visit Hyderabad. He mentions he has been communicating with Aal-e Sarwar, Shahryar and Shamsur Rahman Faruqi regarding organizing a conference for contemporary poets as part of Rashed’s visit to India. The conference would either be in Aligarh, Lucknow or Hyderabad and Tabassum would start planning it once Rashed confirms the trip. He suggest Ritz hotel for the stay at Hyderabad but a different arrangement can also be made. He agrees that Saleem Ahmad’s essay in his book from page 24-41 is related to Rashed’s poetry so he would give it to the copyist. All the received essays have been copied. Dr. Alam Khundmiri, Khalilur Rahman Azmi and Shamsur Rahman Faruqi’s essays are left and they have promised to submit them by 15th November. Once these are received and copied, the journal would be sent to print. Tabassum also rewrites some of the names to confirm if he got them right. These are Rashed and his children’s names.
